The Dondra Quiet Traveling Companion is a 44 or 50 foot long catamaran, with a beam with which you can of course sail the sea, but also navigate rivers and canals. ( For instance the Canal du Sud in France)
A complete different structure, made to live on, and go quietly further and further, as you do on rivers. That does not mean you cannot cross seas with it, it is ce classified class A.
The boat has a small mast which is simple and easy demountable, so you can go on waterways with low bridges.
It is not a racing boat, but able to go on sea with a speed of 8 knots under engine.
The Dondra QTC has electric propulsion with batteries that can be powered by solar panels, by a generator or by land power. That gives you the possibility to walk with very little use of petrol.
