The Dondra 50 (and the 52) is more luxurious then the DONDRA 33 and DONDRA 44. With more place, more sail, but still a fast and safe traveling boat. Also a good racing-catamaran!

Having everything on board does not mean that the catamaran also weighs a lot: by using modern materials and high-quality techniques, the Dondra 50 is still exceptionally light
The boat does not need a lot of wind to move ( mostly 3 knots speed by a 3 knot wind) and sails, in the right conditions, faster than the wind. The weight is centralized so the movement is softer.
By making use of epoxy and kevlar in the construction, the boat becomes even more resistant to unexpected encounters.
